Yikes, flash floods and some of the heaviest rain I’ve ever seen, left us a little soggy today ... It truly broke my heart to see all that water pouring through our Polycrub and greenhouse. The wee dam at the corner of our property, just couldn’t cope with the sheer volume of water coming off the hills. Hopefully it won’t last long ... Our horses are definitely not impressed with the river flowing through their field.
My son immediately pointed to a sign I have in my kitchen... “Keep Calm and Carry On“. Wise words.
I think our next job is going to be some serious drainage improvements ...
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day, but for now I choose to enjoy the rainbow that has literally just appeared on the horizon ... :)
