Finally the snow is lifting and my thoughts and hope turn to Spring. I’m so impatient to start growing in our Polycrub (sadly we still need topsoil to be able to plant) and finish the greenhouse we started last year. I’m sure like so many others with the second lockdown still in place, we’ve really had to tighten our belts. All our projects have gone on hold and it’s a matter of just surviving. Worrying times … 😔
Luckily we have our pantry, with enough food put by to keep us going and logs for our fire. I’m so incredibly grateful to be able to pull on our homesteading skills & mindset though these troubled times.
Anyway, I’m holding onto the positives, no matter how small they are and looking forward with my whole heart to Spring. I can’t wait to see my daffodils pop up and get my hands back in the earth.
