I have some weeding to do this afternoon and some paperwork for our holiday let cottage to complete. But we started our day, with the gorgeous circular walk around Tomintoul (highest village in the Scottish Highlands) ...
The walk is about 2.75 miles, and meanders through open fields and woodlands, climbing gently to the beautiful Victor Gaffney viewpoint. From there you can see the peaks of Ben Avon in the distance and the River Avon twisting below.
With the sun shining, it really was the perfect way to start the day ... :)
